Biography

Benjamin was born on 18 June 1816 in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, USA. He was the son of Casper Schell and Franica Sophronica (Mull) Schell.[1]

In the 1850 census Benjamin (age 33) was living in Wayne County, Missouri, USA.[1]

In the 1860 census Benjamin (age 43) was living in Liberty, Bollinger, Missouri, USA.[2]

Research Notes

Benjamin and family were in Arkansas for a time, probably Carroll County. Their oldest child was born in Arkansas in 1842. Three siblings of Benjamin's were in Carroll County Arkansas in the 1830's. Benjamin and family returned to southeast Missouri.
