Biography

Married John Mock/Mack on 20 Feb 1776. They had two sons and a daughter before he died at age 33 in 1783 from 'an accidental fall from a wagon.' Mary's will mentions three from this union.

She then married a John Boehm(after 1783) who is mentioned in her will as 'absconded' but not indicated as alive or dead on 29 Sep 1794. She willed that after her debts were paid, the rest would be divided among her four children: John Mock, Mary Mock, William Mock, and Betsy Boehm. This was apparently their birth order. There were birth/baptism records for John and 'Wilhelm' at NG Ref. Church, John being the older, born on 19 Dec 1776. William was born 28 May 1782. So Mary Mock(dau.) was born sometime between Aug 1777 and Jul 1781. Betsy Boehm was born sometime in 1783 or after.

The witnesses to the signing of Mary's will were a Mr. (indiscernible) Reed, and John Shell, Mary's brother. The will was proved on 23 Oct 1794 by executors George and Abraham Schultz so she passed sometime during the month after she wrote it. She was only about 37 years old.
