Biography

Donnie was interested in pursuing family history and the origins of the Schell family. He was Y-dna tested, and results have been added to the SCHELL/SHELL SURNAME PROJECT. Donnie was also autosomal tested at FTDNA.

Darla (Henson) Grimm

Uncle Donnie brought a midget racer to Lafon and Hugh Franklin Schell's home (my grandparents) when I was visiting. I was around 12. He let me drive it on the road in front of their house but forgot to tell me it only turned sharp on one side and wide on the other. I went off the embankment on the opposite side from the house, nose down and the back axel got caught in a tree branch- thank goodness- or I might have been seriously hurt. :-)
