Jan Hagen My real but not my biological father.
About 15 years ago or mabey a little longer I asked my mother to write down the family of our father we never had contact with, since they devorced. My mother had some CVA's already then, so I thought there would be some mistakes in what she wrote down. So far, all is correct what she wrote down then, besides some name spellings. That leaflet made me type several variations of my grandfather's name in my browser once or twice a year, and after about five years I found my grandfathers birth- and deathdate....... That s how this started.
Ancestors of Schellenberger-150
I'm 110% Dutch. Born German tho. Was two and half years old as our Dutch mum went back to the Netherlands. Became a Speech Therapist, and I love my work above anything. Married Henk Willem Spaargaren almost 25 years ago (january 1991]. Became mum of the most beautiful children Wim and Elsemieke. Living on a Palace of a Houseboat at the Lake of Aalsmeer we had build 10 years ago. What more is there to wish in this world. :D

I am very interested in Pella, Iowa, USA, as I found a few of my anchestors joined the group that followed Hendrik Scholte to Iowa in 1847 as I was working on them here at WikiTree. Because of the profiles I had some great contact with persons also descendents (and even non-WikiTreeres] of the Dutch "landverhuizers" helping eachother on info and documents to complete profiles.

As Challenge Coodinator of the DRP I think our Liberty Challenge in May every year is the most important one. Adding resistance fighters that acted fearless during WW-II need to be added to WT! We are the first generation at The Netherlands that did not experience a war during their lives. I can only wish my children will not as well. Let us remember and pass on our freedom. And make it through we stay in peace.

Yes, the birth record of Jan Albert ter Vree is on WieWasWie, as well as his marriage record, and the marriage record of his parents. His ancestry can be traced with certainty to his grandparents.

Jan Albert ter Vree married Frederika Johanna van Lente, daughter of Frederick Jan van Lente and Maria Horning, in Holland, Michigan, in 1860. The source for the date is "Van Raalte Weddings (1847-1875)" which can be found online as well.

Hi Astrid, everyone this is what I had to deal with during the clean-a-thon that I did not expect to deal with when I started the clean-a-thon. My biopsy that I had on my right side of my thyroid came back beign but the specialist wants me to have a thyroid ultrasound every 16 to 18 months. But since February for 45 days my dad has had diahra and he has been diagnosed with pseudo membrane colitis which started by taking antibiotics for his pneumonia that he has had 4 times this year. My mother has an UTI infection plus she has picked up a slight case of pseudo membrane colitis now. What my dad has is very contigious. It is a miracle I haven't gotten it. So since my mother was sick when my appointment on 23rd my sister came down and took me especially so when I move into her house I have to the doctor like that I will be use to her going with me when I need her to go with me. So when we got back she went with my mother to a walk in clinic so she could get some antibotics for her UTI. So I had my dad and mother to look after except for cleaning my dad. My mom did that and it about killed her plus if my mom eats the wrong thing it make her hurt and sick to her stomach and she thinks it is her hernia or gall bladder. My sister and my brother-in-law came down and went with my mother to put my dad in the hospital today for his pseudo membrane colitis because my mom just can't do it and since he has vascular demetia that he isn't like my mom says he not her husband and a father now is a different person now. He doesn't know what is being said and he fights what my mom says. So it seems too hard for my mom to clean him up since she got sick and she is very weak. She has arthiritis diease.

So during the clean-a-thon I was busy doctoring my mom and dad, also getting the quest bedroom and bathroom ready for my sister to come down on Sunday and I did try to be a leader and participate in the clean-a-thon and I did manage to do 14 corrections.

Thanks for your note, Astrid, and no need to apologize for having used the Sprint Tracker. I checked and you did add a source to an unsourced profile, so definitely counts for the Sprint even if you did not mean to.

Hi Astrid,

I noticed that you used the Challenge Tracker to track a change during last weekend's Saturday Sourcing Sprint. Please consider officially joining us for the Saturday Sourcing Sprints. You can find information, including how to join, on the Sprints Help page.

No pressure, every profile with a source makes our WikiTree better. Your work will continue to be included in Tracking Sheet's Unregistered total at the bottom of the help page if you do not register.

Your work is appreciated. Thanks for sourcing!
