Biography

Mary Schenck was born on April 6, 1834, in Holmdel, New Jersey to John C Schenck and Margaret "Mary" Polhemus. She married (1) Captain John Woodhull Conover in Holmdel, New Jersey, on January 31, 1855. and they had four children together. After John's death, she then married (2) Chrineyonce Schenck (Jonathan) Holmes in Red Bank, New Jersey, on November 22, 1876, and they had two children together. She died on March 20, 1908, in her hometown at the age of 73, and was buried in Holmdel Cemetery and Mausoleum there.
