Biography

Willemtje Jansen Schenck was born 1677 at Flatlands, Kings, New York. She was named as a child in her father's unrecorded will. [1]Parents: Jan Martense Schenck 1654 - 1687 Jannetje Stevense Schenck (born Van Voorhees) 1658 - 1709. [2]

Her marriage: Pieter Wyckoff about 1696 Long Island City, Queens, New York The marriage was noted in "Early Dutch Settlers of Monmouth", p. 104 [3] Husband: Pieter Wyckoff 1675 - 1759

Supposed ancestor of Kelsey Grammer [4]

Death: bef September 1716 Flatlands, New York or at Long Island City, Queens, New York as at 5 September 1716 her widowed husband remarried.

Children: Nicholas Pieterse, Jannetje, Pieter, John, Jacobus, Cornelius, Antye.

Daughter : Sarah Van Arsdalen (born Wyckoff) 1727 - 1754 [5] [6]Note: uncertain of the accuracy of this entry.
