Biography

Marguerite may have been born about 1721 in Old German Village, German Coast, St. Charles, Louisiana. The year 1721 was the year the immigrants from Alsace-Lorraine, Germany and Switzerland arrived and settled along the Mississippi in what is now known as St. Charles Parish, Louisiana.
Marguerite died before March 1770 [1]
Note: She may be one of the two daughters of Andre SCHENK; if so, is Anne Marie BLUME (first wife of Claude Antoine LE ROUX) her mother? Andre is almost undoubtedly her father. Vincent BOYER is the uncle of Marguerite SCHENK's children with Antoine SCHOFF. I can see only one way Vincent can be their uncle - there is no relationship between Vincent and the SCHOFF family that I have found, so he must be related through SCHENK. It is possible, of course, that Anne Marie BLUME is not the mother.[2]
