Catalyntje was a daughter of Jacob Jacobse Schermerhorn and Gerritie Hendrickse Van Buren, baptized on 26 August 1683.[1]
Catelyntje Schermerhoorn and Abraham Van Valkenburg were married in the Reformed Dutch Church of Albany, New York, in 1706. The couple registered banns on 18 May 1706 and a certificate of their marriage was returned to the church on 2 June 1706. Catelyntje was a daughter of Jacob Jacobse Schermerhorn and Geertjie Hendrickse Van Buren.[2]
