Birth year in question: Was it 1667 or 1679?
When Ariaantje Scherp was born in 1679 in Kinderhook, New York, her father, Andries, was 39 and her mother, Ariaantje, was 37. She married Andries Rees on April 1, 1697, in Claverack, New York. They had seven children in 12 years. She died on October 18, 1750, in Newton, New Jersey, at the age of 71.[1]
