DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Kathryn or other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Kathryn:

Kathryn, I would be adding more people that might be related to you from my German relatives but they who ever they are seem not inclined to count these other additions as connections.

Hi Kathryn!

GEDCOMs that aren't fully imported into WikiTree within 30 days are automatically deleted. You can go ahead and upload a new GEDCOM. The profiles you've already made will be recognized by GEDmatches and you'll be able to skip them when you review your report.

Thanks!

Eowyn

Kathryn, you are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top right, or head over to the G2G forum and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House, you might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Thanks, Bill

My name is Kathryn Mae (Schirm) Davis. I have already downloaded my GEDCOM Tree. I have traced my Schirm family back to the 1500's. I would like to expand this as well as adding to your own tree.

PS, I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'.

You might also like to read the discussions tagged as GEDCOM in the G2G forum.

Happy WikiTreeing,

Maryann
