WEDDING NOTICE From Trove LOCAL WEDDING
SCHLOEFFEL— FERRIS
A pretty wedding was celebrated by Rev. C. W. Leavers at Holy Trinity Church on Wednesday afternoon, when Miss Rita May Ferris, eldest daughter of Mrs. E. Ferris, of 54 Erskine Street, Dubbo, and the late Mr. H. Ferris, of "Moora Vale," Terramungamine, was married to Mr. Victor William Schloeffel, youngest son of Mrs. E. Schloeffel, of 6 Holl's Avenue, and the late Mr. E. Schloeffel, of "Pine Farm," Dubbo.

The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. T. Ferris, chose cream morocain for her wedding frock, worn with a veil of Honiton lace, lent by Mrs. Bourke. Her bouquet was of shower type, of cream and pink Mamon Cochet roses, with trails of Cecil Brunner roses and cream satin streamers.

She was attended by her, sister, Miss Eileen Ferris, and cousin, Miss Gwen Adams, prettily frocked in pink floral frocks, with hats to match, and the bridegroom's niece, Dawn Schloeffel, a dainty little flower girl, in a pale pink silk frock. The bridesmaids carried posies of pink roses and maidenhair fern, and the flower girl a gold basket of pink dahlias tied with gold ribbon, all the floral work being done by Helen Taylor, of Talbragar Street.

The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a cut-glass clock, the reciprocal gift being a travelling rug. To the bridesmaids he gave crystals and to the flower girl a gold armlet. Mr. W. Logue acted as best man.

After the wedding breakfast, held at the bridegroom's home, the happy couple left for Sydney, Mrs. Schloeffel wearing a travelling frock of grey and blue morocain, with hat to tone.

Numerous gifts were received, a beautiful three-decker wedding cake being the gift of Miss Smith, a friend of the bride.
