Biography
Margaretha Schmidt was born on January 25, 1736, in Holzgerlingen, Württemberg, daughter of Johann Georg Schmidt and Catherine (Velder) Schmidt.[1] She married Hanß Jerg Schmid on June 4, 1755, in her Holzgerlingen. They had 14 children. She died on July 8, 1815, in Holzgerlingen and was buried there, having lived a long life of 79 years.
