Caroline was born in 1822. Her parents were Heinrich Christian Schmidt (1779–1853) and Henriette Louise Wagener (1781–1868)
She married Carl Bock on 10 Nov 1845 at Hannover
Johann Carl Friedrich and Caroline (Schmidt) Bock and four children emigrated from Zellerfeld to S.A aboard the Heloise arriving in Adelaide 17 Mar 1847. The ship departed from Bremen 12 Oct 1846. She was aged 25. [1]
