Fact: http://familysearch.org/v1/LifeSketch Henry Smith and his wife Elizabeth owned an L shaped farm around the northeast corner of Cedar Rd. and Richmond Rd. in Euclid Ohio, now Lyndhurst. The Henry Smith farm, several east of it, and the John F Smith farm were purchased by Acacia Country Club which opened on 31 May 1921 with nine holes. The course was expanded to 18 holes. In 2012 a Virginia-based private nonprofit conservation group purchased Acacia Country Club and deeded it to Cleveland Metropolitan Parks.
