When Barbara Smith was born in 1755 in Frederick, Maryland, her father, Philip, was 30, and her mother, Barbara, was 25. She married Adam Everly. She died on September 11, 1816, in Dunkard, Pennsylvania, at the age of 61, and was buried in Greene, Pennsylvania.
