In January 1927, Claire met Tressie Kester, and they dated for several years until they were married in a civil ceremony on 23 Jan 1929 in Hollister. They had three children, Elaine, Donna, and Dan.
He died on August 24, 1992 in the Mee Memorial Hospital in King City, Monterey, California, after a long illness. [2] He is buried in the King City Cemetery next to his wife and near his mother, father and many descendants.[3]
