Irene H. (Schmitz) Schneider, 63, a resident of N9319 County Truck W, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin in the village of Johnsburg, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin passed away Wednesday, 24 January 1990 at her residence.

She was born on 10 September 1926 in Marshfield, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, a daughter of Leo Balthasar Schmitz, 1893-1945 and Alvina Anne (Diedrich) Schmitz, 1901-1993.

On 24 June 1947, she married Clarence Hubert Schneider at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg. Mrs. Schneider was employed by the Infant Socks Company of Fond du Lac for 14 years and later by Tolibia Cheese of Fond du Lac for an additional 21 years until her retirement in 1985. Irene was a member of the Teamsters Local 200 in Fond du Lac.

Mrs. Schneider was survived by: her mother Alvina of The Villa Loretto; husband, Clarence, b. 1915; sisters, Agnes M. (Marvin) Berenz, b. 1923 of New Holstein; Gertrude "Gertie" (Jerome) Marten of Johnsburg; brother, Clarence J. (Bernetta) Schmitz of Malone, Wisconsin; and sister-in-law, Elda Mae Schmitz of Chilton.

She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Patrick Schmitz; and a brother-in-law, Marvin M. Berenz, 1922-1989.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, 27 January 1990 At the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg where the Rev. Fr. Walter Orzechowski officiated.

Entombment followed at the Ledgeview Memorial Park, Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The findagrave memorial ID is 63491700.
