Biography

Black Sea Germans
Johann George Schnabel was a Black Sea German.

Born in Russia in 1808. Son of Johann Konrad Schnabel and Anna Elisabetha Bohl.[1][2] Married Barbara Grosshans in Russia in 1832.[3]

Georgemarried married Barbara Grosshans.[4]

Georg and Barbara had the folliwing children:

  • Christina Barbara Schnabel b 23 Oct 1833 Kassel, Glückstal, Odessa, Russia[4]

In 1880, Georg was 72 years of age, divorced and living in Township 98 North Range 57 West, Township 98, Hutchinson County, Dakota Territory, USA. On the census, he lists his birth location as Cassel.[5]
