Peter Josef--Can you provide not only this original record place name, but an aproximation of the present place name or a more current place name? That would help us all. The Tsjechische translates for my ear like Czech Republic. The town or village name I couldn't guess at. If you have a map for this area n 1859 (see Wikitree.com), It would be helpful as a Photo for the rest of us. I have German Schneiders as the forebears to Schmid lines. But who knows the source of the German Schneiders. Records are incomplete in Germany, as you probably know.
