Johann Wilhelm Schneider was born on 24 December 1856 in Erpel, Germany.[1] He was the son of Johann Wilhelm Schneider and Sibylle Lindlohr.[2] He was baptized on 28 December 1856 at Sankt Severin, Erpel. The baptismal sponsors were Johann Wilhelm Fassbender from Remagen and Margarete Lindlohr from Erpel.[3]
He was drafted into the army in 1877, and was in the 69th infantry for two years.[4]
He immigrated to St. Louis, Missouri in 1883.[5] Afterward, he was known as John William Schneider.
John worked as a barber.[6][7][8] He also ran a saloon.[9] In 1930 he was a salesman in the gas appliance industry.[10] At the end of his life, he was a watchman.[11]
John died on 27 August 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri.[12][13]
