A warm, loving lady who enjoyed family gatherings and especially outdoor picnics. She was a wonderful cook and remembered for her brown sugar pie with meringue topping and her "famous pot roast." Her favorite color was red and she always wrote letters with a red pen. Her granddaughter remembers her having a red couch with a teddy bear on it and another granddaughter remembers her cuckoo clock vividly.
