Seisley Schooley was born February 23, 1891 probably in Ohio.[7]
Scheley Schooley married George Weaver on June 15, 1843 in Rock Island, Rock Island County, Illinois.[1][2]
Seven years later the United States Census on November 26, 1850 enumerated Cisely as part of the George Weaver household. George was a farmer born in Germany about 1820 and he owned $1000. in real estate. Cisely was listed as 26 and born in Kentucky. There were 4 minor children in their houshold: Katharine 6 born in Indiana; John 4, Jacob 3 (indexed as 5), and Hellen 2 were all born in Illinois. They resided in District 37 of Rock Island County, Illinois.[3]
By the time the next Census was taken on July 16, 1860, Cecelia was 36 listed as Wife born in Ohio. Her husband, George, was farmer born in Bavaria. He owned $4850. in real estate with personal property totalling $1600. They had 8 children in their home in Moline Township, Rock Island County, Illinois. The oldest was born in Iowa and the younger ones were born in Illinois. The oldest 4 had aged 10 years each and Amos was 10, Christina 8, George Jr 6 and Charlotte 3. The 7 oldest chlldren all attended school within the year.[4]
George and Licty continued to live in Moline Township. George was farming and had $13000 in property, $3000 of which was personal property during 1870. George had lots of help on the farm with four sons and a farm laborer from Sweden, Aron Johnson. There were also 4 daughters in the home and 4 year old grandson, George Thompson who was listed as a female.[5]
On June 2, 1880, Cicelia was suffering from Ague. Her parents were born in Maryland and Ohio. George was still farming at 62 with the help of his son, Amos; grandson, George Thompson; and hired man, Christian Rasmus from Denmark. Their daughter, Maria, was 15 was at home.[6]
Seisley Schooley Weaver passed away October 23, 1891. She was buried at Bowlesburg Cemetery, Silvis, Rock Island County, Illinois, USA. Her memorial on FindAGrave includes the clipping of Page 7 of Muscatine News-Tribune dated Thursday, December 12, 1901]. Ten years later the late Mrs. Weaver's remains were relocted from the family burying grounds on the farm to the Bowlesburg cemetery. It was discovered that "From the ankles to the sholders the body had become petrified." It was "a ghastly sight. The trunk was headless and the feet had withered away." [7]
Mrs George Weaver was listed on the death records of a few of her children:
Son, Jacob M. Weaver, passed away July 24, 1920.[8]
Son, George W. Weaver, passed away November 21, 1921.[9]
Daughter, Lottie Treeson, passed away December 17, 1927.[10]
Grandparents, three uncles and two aunts FOUND in the SCHOOLEY listing in the Crooked Run Monthly Meeting records.[11]

formerly Schooley, Elizabeth Kell, formerly Schooly, Jacob Schooly,
and Samuel Schooly, all Rock Island County State of Illinois
heirs of Helen Schooley deceased, formerly Helen Mills, and George
Weaver husband of Sisley Weaver and George Kell husband of Elizabeth
Kell, have appointed and do by these presents appoint and
constitute John Mills of Fayette County in the State of Ohio
our true and lawful attorney, to collect, receive, and receipt
for; all monies that are, or may be due us from the
estate of Helen Schooley deceased, formerly Helen Mills.
And we do hereby confirm all the acts of the paid John
Mills done in pursuance hereof, and all such acts of the said
John Mills shall be of equal force and validity as if we had
done them in our own proper persons.
In witness wherof we have hereunto set our hands
