Biography
Cornelius was baptized 22 March 1778 in the Reformed Dutch Church, Shawangunk, Ulster, New York. [1] He was the son of Cornlius Schoonmaker and Sarah Hofman. [1] He was married to Mary Taylor who was called "Polly."
