Hi Marcus,

Seeing that you have Takeshita-9 as the daughter of Prime Minister Noboru Takeshita, I have decided to say that, according to Keibatsugaku, Noboru was married to Naoko Endo, and has three living daughters, but not Takeshita-9 herself, as she cannot be the daughter of a prime minister. Do you mind removing Takeshita-9 as the daughter of PM Noboru Takeshita? Thank you!

P.S. The preferred name/proper first name is Privé (meaning "private" in French). Please change it to Anonymous.

Thanks for your note, Marcus. The learning curve for WikiTree can be a little steep.

I see that Janet has already suggested the Dutch Roots project to you when you did the pre-1700 Quiz. If language is part of what is making WikiTree hard, that project might be a great resource for you. I know that they are in the process of translating many of the help pages from English to Dutch.

From the looks of your ancestor chart and GEDCOM processing, you're doing a great job of entering your family. The 2018 GEDCOMpare Process page might be helpful. It includes some tips on formatting during profile creation which can really help the look of the biography section.

Happy Saturday!

Since you've been with WikiTree for a week or so, I wanted to check in and see how you were doing. The New Member How-To's are available for you to look through if you would like. I hope you find them helpful. If you have any questions about how WikiTree works, don't hesitate to ask. Click on my name above and ask in the comment section of my page.

Hello Marcus, you are adding quite a few pre-1700 profiles, but the only source I can see on them is a MyHeritage tree that doesn't seem to cite any sources.

Having recently taken the pre-1700 test, you will remember that such sources are not recommended for pre-1700 profiles, nor can I see that you have contacted any of the projects on WikiTree as recommended below. Before you add anymore profiles, please go back and add better sources to the profiles you have already created. Thank you

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz Marcus

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects coordinating them is essential. Please ensure location data matches date of profile and avoid abbreviations. Citations & links for sources enable verification of data please add from wiki ID go to Research to find sources

The Dutch Rootswould be of interest. Adding the tag Dutch_Roots will help you get updates about the project.

Explore Pre-1700 Projects list to find one that fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Read the goals & tasks of the project join if it fist.

Any questions please ask

Welcome Marcus

I am pleased to confirm you as a full member, and welcome you to the WikiTree family as your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together.

I would suggest starting with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.

I am here to help answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site

Happy tree climbing
