Studied in Leipzig 1888-1811 - he taught Latin and was Lutheran minister and school inspector. He was a keen follower of the Lutheran Movement. He later moved to Litwitz to work then on to Langenzern, Nurnberg.
Karl and family moved to Langenyen in 1837 and died there aged 52
