According to my mother, the mother of my father (Carlos S Schroth) was Juana Rosa Rodriguez and the father was Karl (with K) Schroth. There is no record of a karl Schroth in the lima registration file for births. Since my father (Carlos S. Schroth) was most likely a "bastard" child , it does not surprise me that the birth certificate probably has a "different name" of the father to avoid traceability back to Carlos Rafael Schroth.
