Biography

When Ida Schuitema was born on July 20, 1869, in Tinallinge, Baflo, Groningen, Nederland, her father, Menne Schuitema, was 47, and her mother, Anje Dijkema, was 20.[1]

She emigrated to the USA in 1892.[2]

She married in 1890 in Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI, USA, Hendrik "Henry" Jans Syswerda and they had five children together.

She died on October 3, 1932, in Wyoming Township, Kent, Michigan, USA, at the age of 63.[3]
