Biography
Franz was born in 1834. Franz Schulte ... He passed away in 1906. [1]
A blacksmith in germany until he came to this contry in 1890 and settled in Westphalia Township, Shelby County, Iowa.
When Franz and wife Thresia arrived in this country in 1890 they farmed with son Joseph (who had previously come to America) for ten years. In 1900 when son Joseph moved move to South Dakota, Franz & Thresia went with him.
Died 6-14-1906 in Frankfort, South Dakota. Buried in St. Ann's Cemetary, Frankfort, South Dakota.
