DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Rod by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Rod:

Thank you, Rod for your message regarding Regina (John) Yeakel, born 1692. I removed her as the mother of David, since she was born nearly forty years after he was. And, I removed her from the second Balthasar Yeakel. Thank you for the heads up!

Hi ,

On behalf of the Connectors Project Leaders, we are doing a six-month check-in with members. Please let us know if you are still active. If you are active, please let us know in which ways you are currently contributing to the project.

All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Michelle ~ Volunteer Coordinator

Rod, if you are wondering why I am interested in your Schultz ancestors, my ancestors used the spelling of the name Shultz, in Missouri, and Schultz prior to that. I had a genealogist trace my family for me years ago, before everything was accessible on the internet and he traced our family back to Shoults-50. Only after I started seeing all the research on WikiTree did I realize that there were so many ways to spell it. Funny thing is, when I checked to see if we were related, we were ... but on my MOTHER'S side.  :-)

There are two Hull-447s ... supposedly half-brothers. How can that be?

I don't know. I adopted that profile. I edited the first name because it had two names from when it was imported from the GEDCOM file. Not my file. Not my research. However, it appears that he married a woman who had children by him and others with that name. Maybe they took another name? Maybe they're not his children. I have no clue. I also removed myself from the profile after editing. You should adopt it and work on it since you're interested in it.

Rod, do you have a source citation for the marriage location of Susan Merkham and Frederick Boyer (Boyer-938)? I had heard that they were married in Canada (maybe during their captivity?) but never found any documentation at all on their marriage.
Welcome to the Global Family Reunion Project! Be sure to check out the project page to see some of what we do, our To-Do list which has folks who need help finding their connection to AJ or more family added to make future connections easier, and please add the Global_Reunion tag to your G2G feed. I am descended from Christopher Meschter through Jeremiah Meschter and Rev. Jacob Meschter, whereas you are descended through the latter's sister, Christina, who married Samuel Anders, making us 4th cousins.

Thank you, Rod, for volunteering to help us grow our worldwide tree.

Our help pages and search features can be accessed from the links in the upper right hand corner of most any page.

VERY IMPORTANT: The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger our global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.

If you're interested in old photos, we have a weekly photo contest.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree! :)

My name is Rod Schultz and I have been working on my family tree for several decades. I believe whole-heartedly in the mission and am happy to share my work. My tree has been posted in Rootsweb for many years. I have met many distant relatives doing research and hope to find even more. I have visited many genealogy sites but just learned about wikitree. I love the concept.
