Biography
He was the son of Johann Heinrich Schultz (1775-1847) and Elizabeth Krieger (1779-1823)l
Records of the Moravians in North Carolina 8:4067: Oct. 6, 1833. In Bethania was the burial of the married Br. Jacob Schulz, who fell asleep on the 4th. He leaves a young widow with 4 children, the oldest of them being 9 years of age, and the old father. The widow is threatened with blindness. The departed Brother has been sickly the whole summer, but confined to his bed for only 2 weeks with fever. He was 29 years and 10 months old.
