George was born on 25 February 1878 in Belle Creek, Goodhue, Minnesota, USA. He was the son of Frederick Wilhelm Schultz and Anna Maria (Langsdorf) Schultz.[1][2]

In the 1900 census George (age 22) was living in Red Wing Ward 2, Goodhue, Minnesota, USA. Marital Status: Single; Relation to Head: Son.[3]
When George was about 40 he married Huldah Marion Winblad in about 1919. The couple had 4 children.
George died at the age of 78 on 13 February 1957 in St. Cloud, Stearns Co., Minnesota.[2]
George was buried after 13 February 1957 in Oakwood Cemetery, Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota.[4]
Obituary: Funeral services for George Schultz were held on Saturday, February 16, at 10 a.m., at the Monticello Funeral Home and at 2:00 p.m., at the Cemetery Chapel at Red Wing, with the Rev. E. T. Hare conducting the services. At the services in Monticello Don Pitt sang “Face to Face,” and “Beyond the Sunset,” and was accompanied at the organ by his wife. The pallbearers were George Haight, Chris Sonsteby, Lawrence Nelson, Harry Swanberg, Marion Larson and Bob Brunsell, with the burial at Red Wing.
George Schultz was born on January 25, 1879, near Red Wing, MN, the son of William and Mary Langsdorf Schultz. He grew to manhood in Red Wing and on May 21, 1919, he was united in marriage with Huldah Winblad at Minneapolis. They lived in Minneapolis until moving to Hasty (Wright County, MN) in 1934 where they have lived ever since. He was confirmed in the Belle Creek Lutheran Church.
George died on Wednesday, February 13, at 1:00 p.m., at the St. Cloud Hospital after an illness of five months. He is preceded in death by his parents, by two sisters, Mrs. Amelia Kolbe and Mrs. Anna Waltemate, and by a brother, Henry. He is survived by his wife, Hulda, by two daughters, Susie, Mrs. Kenneth Shultz, and Elsie, Mrs. Philip Wipper, both of Monticello; by a son, Howard of St. Paul; by eleven grandchildren; and by two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hagstrom of Minneapolis, and Martha, Mrs. Charles Wendler of Red Wing.
Out-of-town relatives and friends who attended the funeral services were: Mr. and Mrs. Howard Schultz, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Schultz, South St. Paul; Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Winblad, Mr. Warren Anderson, Mrs. Joel Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Jacobson and family, Mr. and Mrs. William Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carlson, Misses Albertina and Elizabeth Cole, Mr. Edward Yaplich, Mrs. Elizabeth Edmonds, and Mr. Mark Winsor, all of Minneapolis; Ralph Winblad, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Winblad, Mrs. Marion Winblad and Mr. Vernon Winblad, all of Red Wing.
