He was born June 2, 1916, in Terre Haute, son of Oscar and Minnie B. Lawrence Schulz. He married Lucinda Mobley Sept. 3, 1936, and she survives. . He was vice president and a, co-fqunder of Padden Engineering Co. . at Hope. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Bloomington and Eagles lodges in Columbus and Bloomington. Also surviving are a son, Dennis Schulz of Hope; three daughters, Barbara Jordan of Hope, Judy Wise of Elizabethtown and Colleen Kearney' of -Westportr five brothers, -Roy, Alvin and Elvin Schulz, all of Bloomington, Earl Schulz of Columbus and Virgil Schulz of Greenfield; a sister, Pauline Arnold of Bloomington, H grandchildren and five great-grandchildren
