Biography

Eduard arrived in South Australia in 1848.

Eduard married Amelia Rosa Eva GROSSER on 1 Dec 1849 at Langmeil Church in Tanunda SA

Eduard was the first licensee of the Hotel Sebastopol in Nuriootpa SA (now known as the Angas Park Hotel) from 10 Mar 1856 until 1860.

On 29 Apr 1865, Edward Alexander Schulze was charged with "being a pauper lunatic wandering at large. The prisoner said he was 42 years old. Had been living at Gumeracha. Had property in the shape of cows and horses. Had a wife and six children. Believed he had been locked up for fighting. Was of no religion. Had never been in a lunatic asylum. ... A certificate was made out for his admission to the Lunatic Asylum."

Edward died in Adelaide SA on 29 May 1866.
