Jacob C Schupp was born in Tuscarawas County, Ohio and moved to Monroe Township in Ashtabula County, Ohio in 1908. Jacob became a successful breeder of Holstein cattle, and his farm became known as 'Meadowbrook Farm' located on the Conneaut and Youngtown road. He and his wife were parents of Pearl L E Schupp Hanni, wife of Frederick Hanni. Meadowbrook farm was a prosperous farm of 322 acres of good farm land.
