Hyltje Schut was a daughter of Willem Jansz Schut and Grietje Jacobs. She was born (according to her marriage record) at Marbletown, New York (formerly Mormel), probably in about 1673 (based on her husband's date of birth).
She died on 30 January 1751/52 at Marbletown, Ulster County, New York [1]

Heyltje Schut married 26 Dec 1696 Kingston, Ulster, New York Pieter Jans van Oosterhout (b. 1672, Kingston, Ulster, New York , d. 15 Feb 1751) [2] 26 December, 1696 Pieter Oosterhout j.m., born under the jurisdiction of Kingstown and resid. there, and Hyltje Schut, j.d., born under the jurisdiction of Mormel (Marbletown) and res. under the jurisdiction of Albanie (Albany). banns published but dates not given.[3]
Children from this marriage were:
Annetje baptized at Kingston on 19 January, 1701. she married Abraham Burhans 21 june, 1729 in Kingston. Abraham was baptized 28 January 1692 and son of Jan Burhans and Helena . Annetje and Abraham had eight children[2]
