Newspaper obit from Mabel's scrapbook:

Mrs. Amelia Huber, nee Schwartz, wife of the late Louis Huber died in Central Park Clinic in Buffalo on Thursday Sept. 4, 1930. She was the mother of Mrs. Edward Krauss, Mrs. Edward Simon, Mrs. Joseph McGurk, Mrs. George Mullaney, William and Leo Huber.

Mrs. Huber was the daughter of the late Mathias and Mary Schwartz who were first settlers on what in now known as the Schwartz Road. She was in her 75th year, and spent all her life in this vicinity.

The funeral was held from her late home in Central Ave. on Sat. morning at 9:30 and from St. Mary's Church one half hour later. Solemn Requiem Mass was sung by Rev. Louis Withkop assisted by Rev. John A. Schmitt and Rev. Martin Ebner.

Paul berrers were Harold J. Huber, Joseph A. Huber, Clifford Huber, Norbert Graves, Robert and Edward Striegel, all grand nephews of the deceased.

St. Ann's Sodality of which she was a member attended in a body, and the large funeral corage which escorted the remains to her final resting place in St. Mary's cemetery gave evidence of the high esteem in which she was held in this community.
