Biography

Johan was born on the 4th of August 1849 in Wellington to Johan Georg Schwartz (Schwartz-1919) and Hendrina Christina Goosen (Goosen-202) ^[1] He married Catharina Johanna (Maria) Magdalena Joubert (Joubert-1038) ^[2] on the 26 October 1874 in Piet Retief / Wakkerstroom. ^[3] He died after 1902 when his family departed from the Volkscamp concentration camp ^[4]
