Scott born Tyrone, Ireland and Anna Ellen Rouse born Mitchell Square, Simcoe County, Ontario. He was 24 years old, a bachelor, a wholesale clerk, born Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. His parents were Hector Alves and Joan Smith, both born Aberdeen, Scotland.^[3]

Her husband Hector was an evangelist who preached the gospel and ministered the Word of God all over the world. She stayed put in Vancouver while a mother and wife. Eunice was very quiet, kind and patient.

A widow, Eunice died at the age of 81 on 18 April 1980 in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.^[4]and was interred next to her husband in Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver, BC.^[5]
