On 28 November 1751, when he was in his early twenties, he married Ann Randolph. She bore him one known child, a son whom they named Daniel.
Just a few years later, on 20 January 1755, when he was in his mid-twenties, Daniel died of unknown causes in Powhatan County, Virginia.
Research Notes
Several family genealogies claim that Anne Randolph and Daniel Scott "had no children."[1][2][3][4][5] Any there any authoritative sources to support the contrary claim?
