Mary Ann Scott was b 10 Aug 1803 in that part of Machias later set off as East Machias, the daughter of Jesse Scott and Sarah Bracy.

She married, 1 Jun 1820 [probably at Machias], Simeon Ayers, b at Calais, 4 Apr 1800. She d before 7 Nov 1840 [probably at Cooper], when her husband m (2) Elizabeth Stoddard Bridges.
