Biography

Judith Scott was born on 4 Dec 1704 in St. Peter's Parish, New Kent, Virginia to parents John Scott and Judith Dudley. She married first Peter Ware about 1723 in New Kent, Virginia. Children: Henry, Sarah, Judith Scott, Capt. John Byrd. After Peter died in 1741 she married second Col. Samuel Jordan on 18 Feb 1744 in Goochland, Virginia. She died on 1 Nov 1785 in King and Queen, Virginia.

Ware v Cary
Judith WARE of Buckingham County, died in September or October 1785
Married Samuel Jordan of Buckingham County, who died in 1789. No issue appears of this marriage.
She had only son, John Ware.
She had only granddaughter, Judith, who died 1788, wife of Robert Cary, who had only issue a daughter, who died an infant to tender years.
Suit concerns 200 acres of land purchased of Thomas Walton lying on the fourth side of Fluvanna River opposite the Seven Islands, recorded in Goochland County, 21 August 1744. Said land now in County of Buckingham.
