Biography

James Scott was born in Appalachia, in Kentucky. See Appalachia Project.

James was born in 1840, son of Daniel Scott (abt.1816-1885) and Nancy (Stafford) Scott (1814-1887). He married Emeline (Rutherford) Scott (abt.1842-abt.1933) in 1860. He passed away in 1910.
