Henry (Tup) Scott was born in 1858, the son of John Scott, secretary of the Melbourne Gas and Coke Company, and his wife Elizabeth, née Miller. Henry was a cricketer and physician, who played cricket for Victoria and the Australian Test Team.
He made his debut against the English in England at Manchester from July 10 - 12, 1884. And played his Last also in England against the English Team at The Oval from August 12 - 14, 1886. He was made Captain of an under strength Australian touring side for 1886 tour of England, with little success.
He then completed his qualifications to become a general practitioner following his retirement from cricket in 1886.
He passed away at Scone, New South Wales, on 23 Sep 1910, and was buried in the Scone Cemetery on 24 September 1910. A secondary memorial seems to exist at the St Kilda Cemetery in Victoria Australia.
There is an Obituary in the local The Scone Advocate newspaper of Friday 23 September 1910 which is worth a look. Along with his Funeral recorded in the same newspaper The Scone Advocate a few days later on Tuesday 27 September 1910.

Scott's name appears perhaps on a memorial in the St Kilda Cemetery but the Findagrave citation does not lead anywhere.
