William Scott was born on 28 Oct. 1799 in Georgia.[1]
He married Eliza Jordan on 21 Dec. 1826 at Monroe County, Georgia.[2]
Eliza died in July 1837 and he married Nancy.
He was a farmer when he and Nancy appeared on the census of 3 Aug. 1850 at Monroe County, Georgia.[3] He was a farmer when he and Nancy appeared on the census of 29 June 1860 at Line Creek, Spalding County, Georgia.[4]
William died on 25 Jan. 1863 and was buried at Harvey Scott Family Cemetery, Spalding County, Georgia. His memorial has the dates of his birth and death.[1]
