She remarried John Wilson after Simeon's death in 1828 and relocated to Rock Island, Illinois. John Wilson was the widower of Lois Wheelock, a second cousin once-removed of Simeon's. Both were from Winchester, New Hampshire.
She died on February 28, 1861 in Rock Island, Illinois.
