Most public records indicate that she was Mure (Muir) when she married. However the wedding record indicated she was previously married to an Andrew Scott the younger. The second marriage to Sir John Shaw. The previous married name caused confusion in various records. Sir John Shaw was made a Baronette a few months earlier. At the time he brother and Father had been arrested by the Coventers the previous year in 1863. he previous husband being a victim of them. This information will make it interesting for further researchers. Have fun ( shaw-6851)

Should the LNAB be changed to /MURE/ to match her father and siblings??? The /MUIR/ variant is used for the Clan category and sticker, so it is certainly a valid spelling but seems to be more ancient. Most references seem to favor /MURE/.
