THEODOSIA SCOTT's first name is variously given as Theodosia, Theodocia, or "Doshy Kendall" "The??cia" as she appears in her father Thomas Scott's will.
Ohio census reports place her birth in Virginia about 1794, and she died July 1875 in Brown County, Ohio where she is buried next to her husband, David Kendall in the Old Russellville Cemetery [aka Shaw Cemetery] in Brown Co, Ohio. Her headstone says she died July 11, 1875 aged 81 (making her birth year 1794 which matches with the age given on the 1850 census.) She is the daughter of Thomas Scott and Ann Cooksey.
Siblings Thomas Scott's Will probated 4 Feb 1854, names her other siblings as Nancy Pikett, Matilda Moore, Elizabeth Johnston, Julian Parsons, and Thomas Scott Jr each to receive a one sixth share. [1]
My own [Steven Holloway] autosomal evidence suggests that with father Thomas Scott and mother Ann Cooksey, my Theodocia has sisters Matilda (Scott) Moore, Mary (Scott) Tucker, and Julia Anne (Scott) Parsons[2] which is supported with other evidence [e.g. Terry Bodkin's Scott page].[3]
