Sarah Ann Scott was born abt. 1810. In the death record of her daughter, Sophia Ann, it is listed that Sarah Ann Scott was born in Ohio. However, in the census records for Sophia, her mother is listed as being born in Pennsylvania.
Sarah Ann Scott married Samuel Jones about 1827, which is before the birth of Sophia Ann.
Sarah probably died sometime before 1850, most likely in Indiana. In the 1850 Census, Samuel is listed as a farmer and married to his second wife, Mary. They had three children living with them at the time.
