Thomas Scott, St. Charles, Donegal, Ireland* and unknown Mother, origin of birth Scotland or Ireland, was the father of 4 young unmarried bothers: Samuel, George B., James, and William. They emigrated to NY apx 1800, where they settled in the town of Nelson, Madison Co, NY and worked on a Hop farm in Cazenovia, NY. They eventually moved to a farm in New Woodstock, NY
Thomas's son, George, married Lydia Holmes, apx 1810. They had 8 Children. He died in Nw Woodstock NY. He along with his wife, Lydia and a son, Jedediah are buried in New Woodstock, NY.
George's oldest son, Samuel remained on the New Woodstock NY homestead, Their son, Adelbert O Scott, married LoAnnna Samantha Castler (aka: Sarah), parents of Ruth Elizabeth Scott. Ruth Elizabeth married David Ray Clemens in 1911. They lived their lifetime on a farm in N Osceola, NY, Celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary. They raised 4 Boys and 3 girls.
Thomas's son, James, moved to Westfield, Chautauqua Co., NY late in life and died there. He had several sons and 1 daughter.
Thomas's son, William, moved to Albany NY and had 11 sons.
Thomas's son, Samuel, Married Rozina Chapin and they lived their lives in Cazenovia
this location is likely to be Mt Charles, Donegal, Ireland.
