DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with John by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with John:
I removed the marriage date of 1729 and marriage location of Waterbury. The record cited gives marriage in Boston in 1746. Anyway, I see no evidence cited to connect this John Scott born in Hatfield in 1704 to that Boston marriage (and the children were born well before 1746).
Scott-15982 and Scott-4695 are not ready to be merged because: I just realized that there are duplicate profiles for earlier generations that should be merged before these duplicates are merged.
Scott-15982 and Scott-4695 appear to represent the same person because: Birth, death, spouse, and child match. I don't see why these were tagged as a rejected match.
